Pakistan, June 17(ANI): People who gathered for daily prayers in the Pakistan mosque on the fateful evening of Monday did not know that they were offering their last prayers. A bomb blast claimed four lives, including a child while they were praying in a Shi'ite Muslim mosque in Pakistan's north-western city of Dera Ismail Khan on Monday. Three other people were injured in the blast. The bomb went off at dusk when Shi'ites were gathered in the mosque for prayers.

A bomb planted near a bridge in northern Baghdad killed five people on passing minibuses during rush hour Wednesday, Iraqi police said. A woman and a 7-year-old boy were among the dead, and at least 10 other people were wounded in the mostly Shiite neighborhood of Hurriyah, an officer said on condition of anonymity out of security concerns. At least 12 people have been killed by two explosions at a train station east of the Algerian capital. Two bombs detonated within minutes in the town of Beni Amrane in Boumerdes region, 50km (30 miles) from Algiers. A suicide bomber killed at least six people and wounded 46 on Tuesday when he blew up his vehicle at a checkpoint in northern Iraq. Spokesman of the interior ministry said the bomber struck at the Al-Kalah checkpoint in the town of Tal Afar in Nineveh province which has been the scene of major operation against Al-Qaeda since May 14.
